Ann C. McCowan has served on the Board as the Treasurer for the past 11 years.

Compassionate Pug Rescue (CPR) is an all volunteer organization dedicated to saving the life of one pug at a time. We open our homes and our hearts to provide food, shelter, medical care, a warm bed and loving hands to help the hundreds of broken, needy and hurting little ones that come to us. It is our goal to match each and every one with the best possible forever home… so that they will never again be homeless.

Ann C. McCowan has served on the Board for the past 6 years. She currently serves on the Executive Board as the Immediate Past President. Ann completed the maximum 2 year term as President on June 30,2014. Prior to being the President she served as the Treasurer.

The YWCA has been able to provide through the support of our partners, programs and services that empower women, girls, and families to educate, grow, and prepare for the future. The programs have impacted 14,902 lives in our 22 service locations throughout Miami-Dade County.

The YWCA is a word, not an acronym, and stands for eliminating racism and empowering women.

The mission of Aqua Foundation for Women is to serve and support the lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community in South Florida through grants, scholarships, and initiatives.

Ann C. McCowan is the co-founder of the annual "Women of Influence" event held August 27,  2015 marks the 7h year of the event.

“Women of Influence” is a fundraiser, cocktail reception and executive networking event that benefits the YWCA of Greater Miami-Dade. This event was established to showcase a panel of successful and prominent local business women who share their personal stories and to highlight the commitment to the YWCA’s mission that is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
